Kristin Kreuk doesn't repent making 'Smallville' but grateful to be returning on TV

Zap2it: Are you a fan of tv's past "Beauty and the Beast" sequence that appeared Betty Hamilton and Ron Perlman?

Kristin Kreuk: I actually didn't see the display very much. I think I was a little too younger, and also didn't have a TV. I've seen things of it, though, and I like the styles behind "Beauty and the Monster." In the Disney edition and the tale, the concept is really wonderful and individual, and I think it's essential for us to tell that tale.

Zap2it: What, particularly, are its styles that entice you?

Kristin Kreuk: There's the one element that individuals are different than they appear -- that there's much more to them than you understand -- and that benefits is an inner feature that is not actually shown on the outside.

The other factor I really like in our edition is, what are "beauty" and "beast" anyway? How do they are available within each of us? How is it that our options indicate what we become? None of us is all excellent or all bad; we're individual, and it's essential for us to accept all factors of ourselves.

Zap2it: How do you look returning at your choice to keep your Lana Lang part on "Smallville" when you did?

Kristin Kreuk: I was very prepared to shift on. TV is difficult; an hour-long display, in a major part especially ... I don't know how Tom (Welling, who performed Clark Kent) did it for 10 decades, to be sincere. That's a lengthy run, but the females who are operating this display are amazing. And to be on such a powerful females group, it's something I've always desired to do.
