Harbaugh consumes up Madden's advice: Champions don't complain

The squeaky rim may get the oil, but it doesn't get the Vince Lombardi Award. This, according to David Madden, who had 49ers trainer Jim Harbaugh in rapt interest and writing down notices when Harbaugh showed up on Madden's stereo display today.

"I just know the group that gripes the most usually drops," Madden said on KCBS 740-AM. "The other factor I know is, you haven't done anything yet. The group that enjoys having gotten there the most usually drops a little concentrate."

Harbaugh liked that concept so much, he had the gamers collect around him following the late-morning walk-through and relayed it to them. "I believed it was really excellent understanding - some that I've never observed before and distributed it with the group just a few moments ago," Harbaugh said during his Saturday media meeting.

Harbaugh, who was an associate trainer when the Raiders went to the Extremely Dish in 2002, said he would have a set of guidelines and curfews for his gamers in New Orleans, which he dropped to talk about. But he was adament he desired the 49ers have fun with the encounter.

"I want them have fun with every moment and especially appreciate the competitors," he said. "And that's the most interesting factor to look ahead to - enjoying the encounter, that football being began."

This was Harbaugh's second media meeting since the 49ers' 28-24 win over the Falcons Weekend. He will have to deal with the media six periods starting Weekend, and he's limited to get the kind of concerns he doesn't like - such as ones he's responded to before - during the weeks time. Given Madden's guidance, is this going to be a problem for him?

Said Harbaugh: "I don't know where you've gotten the impact that I don't appreciate speaking with the media or the lovers. I do appreciate these classes." (a few guffaws ensued).

Harbaugh also said he's been touching another former pro trainer from the Bay Place, Tony morrison a2z La Russa this weeks time. Requested what La Russa informed him, Harbaugh said, "Nothing that I would discuss. Tony morrison a2z doesn't quite like it when I do that."
