‘The X Factor’ 1st pick to host Khloe Kardashian

MHS reported on Sept. 7 that Simon Cowell wants Khloe Kardashian as his 1st choice to join “The X Factor” as a host.

Following a screen test, Kardashian is the new frontrunner to join the reality competitor show as the host of the show, which includes Cowell, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges.

MHS reports that sources claim Cowell conceives that “Khloe makes the most sense in terms of audience draw, since they've already invested heavily in Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to attract young viewers.”

Cowell is also looking for an edge against “The Voice,” who the producer claims exposed a gentleman’s agreement with “The X Factor.”

“The Voice” will air 3 episodes against the returning “X Factor” next week.

“It's very simple: They don't want people to see this 1st episode,” Cowell said. “I think it's mean spirited and I hope and I pray that it backfires on them because this is one of the best shows we have ever made.”

With “The X Factor” starting next week, if they hire Khloe Kardashian, she will start instantly.

“The X Factor” debuts Wednesday, Sept. 12. The 1st cities boasted will be Austin, Texas, San Francisco, and Providence, RI.
