One Snake, But Two head

An owner of a German pet shop has been showing off its newest celebrity, a royal python, with 2 heads.

Stefan Broghammer says the reptile, which hatched around a year ago, is 1 of only 2 double headed snakes in the world.

As well as two separate heads, the animal has 2 independent brains, which occasionally leads to confusion and conflict.

Broghammer said: "Ultimately the 2 snakes have to agree on: should we go to the right or the left, where are we going, what are we doing today?"

He cannot decide whether he should sell the exceptional animal or hold onto it himself.

He said, "Well, we have to live off something. Therefore we are trying to sell whatever we have here. On the other hand the 2 of them have grown on us. I still have not made up my mind. I did receive a request from Asia, from China, with a pretty high financial offer for the animal. But I am still not sure."
