Reese Witherspoon is in speaks to celebrity in "The Good Lie," a film about the Missing Younger boys of Sudan that Molly Smith's Dark Brand Press and Think about are generating.

Philippe Falardeau will immediate the film from a film script by "Warm Springs" scribe Maggie Nagle. Nagle designed the film script in the Think about Author's Lab, re-energizing a venture that had delayed at Critical decades ago.

The tale follows four boys who left Sudan as assault ripped the nation apart. After investing decades in a refugee camping, they were chosen to come to the U. s. Declares and got a new rental on life with a bold U. s. states lady (Witherspoon). It will discover a kid's connections with the team in The united states and his battles to modify, increasing the query of who saved whom.

Casting for the boys has not been declared.

Smith, who released Dark Brand with 3 Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill, came onboard to fund and generate the film several weeks ago. Dark Brand will generate with Imagine's Ron Howard, Mark Grazer and Nancy Kehela Sherwood. Imagine's Kim Roth and Dependency Entertainment's Deepak Nayar will be professional manufacturers.   

The Missing Younger boys of Sudan is a number of a large number of young men who were removed by the Second Sudanese Municipal War during the 1980's, 1990's and 2000s. The war was settled by a cease-fire that provided Southern Sudan freedom and planned a referendum for its freedom, which has since happened.

The problem of orphans and private displacement appeared again during the genocide in Darfur and the secession of Southern Sudan, which has excited problem between the south and northern over area and useful natural sources.

The topic has motivated several guides, performs and movies, such as documentaries "God Increased Fed up with Us," "War Child" and 'Rebuilding Wish."
